Nintendo has officially jumped out of the games and into a theme park! Universal Studios proudly presents a new theme park called Super Nintendo World. The Nintendo themed land will be found at Universal Japan, Orlando and Hollywood. What exactly can you expect to see when there though? Here’s the rundown on everything Universal Nintendo.
The parks are designed to look and feel as though you have stepped into the Mushroom Kingdom found in the Super Mario Bros. franchise, but will also feature a number of other Nintendo licensed characters. Some franchises mentioned are Legend of Zelda, Kirby, Starfox, Donkey Kong and Animal Crossing. Some of the designs that can be admired are Bowser’s castle, Mario Kart race track and the iconic Peach’s castle.
There’s several rides that will incorporate the use of Yoshis, Mario Karts and other innovative technologies that will make it an experience unlike any other theme park. An app will also be made available from the creative heads over at Nintendo that will allow you to interact with the park in a way that has yet to be seen.
There will be specific merchandise as well that will be made only available at the parks that are sure to be memorable such as the exclusive super power band. These bands will allow you to collect digital coins and special prizes as you travel through the Mushroom Kingdom. Express passes, character meet and greets, specialty restaurants and gift shops will also be made available to park goers.
