Smorgasburg Los Angeles
Have you ever heard of it?
Smorgasburg is the largest open-air food market that attracts thousands of people all around the Los Angeles County with tons of local vendors.
Here you can explore and find a variety of LA food trucks from Asian street foods to fancy lobsters on the go, markets and accessories. They also have a beer garden area for you to hang out and enjoy a signature beer or two with your meal.
Smorgasburg Los Angeles is open every Sunday, rain or shine, you should expect variety of vendors to be there. There is no entrance fee, pets are not allowed inside as well and there are security guards in the entrance gate at all times. Parking is close by the entrance which is very convenient for easy access.
Tips before going here.
- Light Meal to eat before going to Smorgasburg, there tends to be long lines in most food trucks/stalls.
- Bring an umbrella during summer seasons, there isn’t usually a lot of shade, especially if you are in line.
- Bring something to hydrate you at all times.
- Lastly, while you’re inside, explore as much foods/drinks as you can!
I always tend to try meals i don’t usually see a lot or rarely find. My go to will be the “Shrimp Daddy” as they serve the garlic shrimp and fried rice in a half pineapple bowl. Makes me miss my days in Hawaii all the time.
During this time of Covid-19 pandemic, Smorgasburg LA is currently closed, but as soon as its safe to open for large gatherings, check it out and explore the taste of Los Angeles.
