Step aside Popeyes and Wendy’s
Flamin Hot Chicken has cemented itself as my favorite chicken sandwich. I repeat my FAVORITE chicken sandwich. This chain of chicken not only has restaurants but a food truck as well. I was told about this delicious establishment through a friend and I must say, I can’t believe I went through life without it.
Let’s talk a little about the their famous chicken sandwiches before we go on to other delicacies they have on the menu. Thier traditional sandwhich has of course chicken between two buns, pickles, coleslaw and their signature sauce which comes in mild, Flamin, Death Row, and Devil’s Rejects “Challenge Spice”. I have had death row, mild and Flamin and all have been amazing. You can custom order yours with or without any of the condiments I mentioned earlier.
Their menu also has of course french fries and chicken tenders which you can also order in a variety of heat or just get the sauce on the side. You can also get coleslaw on the side as well as ranch dressing. One of my favorite items on their menu has to be their elote. For anyone that isn’t familiar with the Spanish lingo, I’m talking their cup of creamy and spicy Mexican corn.
You can order their corn as a side item to any of their combos or just buy it by itself. Switch up the heat if you’d like as well for the kids or if you live dangerously enough, top it off with some Devil’s Rejects sauce. If you would like to check them out yourselves, you can visit their official site Here.
The Mini Jai
This is the unofficial sandwich known as the Minijai! Classic chicken sandwich with pickles, extra coleslaw, flamin sauce, ranch and add their signature elote on top smushed between their fantastic toasted buns! Be sure to try it when you can and let me know in the comments below what you think!
