Beignet Box

Beignets are a must try for sweet lovers. If you don’t know or never have had a Beignet before, this delicious pastry is a light, fluffy like and pillowy fried pastry, dusted in powdered sugar. Yes, this can and will get messy!

Beignet from Beignet Box

Beignets are very popular in New Orleans, and I am glad it came here to Los Angeles. I’ve always had Beignets at Disneyland only, until I came across Beignet Box in Sherman Oaks, California. A lot closer to me to enjoy and less traffic (If you know LA, traffic is always insane!).

Beignet Box is a food truck, their main station is at 14078 Ventura Blvd, California, and I’ve seen them travel around the San Fernando Valley as well. Keep an eye on them via Instagram @BeignetBox. The Co-Founders and Owners are Christina Milian and Elizabeth Morris and they both made their beignets very unique for sweet tooth’s like me coming back for more. Their Beignets are fried but its is very light, fluffy, not so doughy and dusted with powdered sugar that with just one bite it melts in your mouth.

Beignet Bites with Lemonade

This pastry food truck has a small menu, they focus on beignets and with this sweet meal; you must pare it with their specialty drinks such as sweet tea, coffee, cafe au lait or lemonade. I like to pair mine with Sweet Tea, its fresh with a tad bit of bitterness to it.

Great Beignets are hard to find in the San Fernando Valley, if you see this sweet Beignet box food truck; stop and park your car. Savor your day with Beignets and a refreshing drink. You can never go wrong with something simple like a beignet.
