Welcome to Phantasialand!
While doing research for the popular Movie Park Land in Germany which you can read all about HERE. I came across a few other of Germany’s great attractions and one being Phantasialand. While this park may not be as large as most of the other theme parks of the world, this one is one of the most themed and decorated parks you’ll ever visit.
The park like most is comprised in different lands and themes. Phantasialand is made up of lands based on the world so there is Mexico, China, Berlin (Germany), Africa, Fantasy and a Mystery section that houses Norse mythology decor. Each section being lavishly decorated from hand rails to walls.
The park has an array of multiple attractions that comprise of multiple water rides, roller coasters and tunnel rides. Due to the park being small, the developers and engineers had to dig into the ground and build up or make very intricate style rides. During the holiday seasons the park goes all out with winter wonderlands and very scary and creepy Halloween decorations.
The parks rides use all sorta of theatrics such as smoke, effects, fire effects, water and wind to give the rider an over the top experience. The park is also constantly updating itself as it does often remove old rides to build new attractions which means that some fan favorites might be lost to time.
The park does close early which is common among theme parks in Europe due to the cold weather which might cut your day short. Phantasialand brings in about 2 million visitors every year and I understand why. Check out the map below and book your trip today.
