Toys of The Universe: Comics, Cards, & Toys
The shop is ran by the Tony’s and was opened near the end of 2020 brandishing an excellent collection of comic books, retro toys from popular franchises such as Dragon Ball Z, Wrestling, Ninja Turtles, Jurassic Park and much much more.
Their crown jewel has to be their Poke’mon card collection. They have a variety of exclusive cards available for purchase as well as packs and tins that you won’t find anywhere else.
They allow you to trade in your own cards for either money or in house credit to spend on other gems they have.
Even with the crowds that go in and out of this shop they still manage to not sell out of their illustrious packs. The decor on the walls along with the music that’s played also sets the tone for a “trading cards and toys with your friends on the recess playground” feels.
The shop can be found on 15438 Devonshire St in Mission Hills, Ca, 91345.
Their hours are Monday to Friday from 2pm to 8pm, Saturdays from 11am to 8pm, Sundays from 11am to 5pm.
