Every summer, the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center transforms into a playground for horror fans, Halloween fanatics, haunt enthusiasts, cosplayers, and anyone who thinks that a little fake blood makes an outfit better. Welcome to Midsummer Scream, the ultimate celebration of all things spooky, creepy, kooky, and downright terrifying.
The Hall of Shadows is one of the convention’s biggest attractions, packed with haunted walk-throughs, elaborate sets, immersive experiences, horror-themed attractions, and displays created by professional and home haunters. More than a dozen attractions are featured, giving visitors the chance to experience the kind of scares normally reserved for Halloween night.
You can expect to see everything from classic movie monsters and slashers to creepy dolls, vampires, witches, ghosts, zombies, demons, killer clowns, haunted house characters, and characters from beloved horror movies, television shows, and video games.
